She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvie Smith and Clara Smith (Schmidt); her husband Charles R. Ronan; her sons-in-law, Joseph Niedermeier and Darrell Patterson; and her siblings, Lois Hendricks, Dorothy Smith, Richard Smith and Robert Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Niedermeier of Rockford, IL, Linda Dolezalek (Dale) of Milton, WI, Steve Ronan (Sheila) of Loves Park, IL, Patricia Patterson of Roscoe, IL, Dan Ronan of Loves Park, IL and Chris Ronan of Machesney Park, IL.. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established at a later date.
