She is survived by: her husband Douglas Clark Stodola; her children, Maggie Hedlund (Jim) of Caledonia, IL, Ken Stodola (Jennifer) of Prattville, AL and Steven Stodola (Rhonae) of Deering, NH; her grandchildren, Andy Hedlund (Ashton) of Cherry Valley, IL, Jeremiah Hedlund (Rachel) of Rockford, IL, Joe Hedlund (Megan) of Loves Park, IL, Shawn Hedlund of Caledonia, IL, Alysson Sandahl (Josiah) of Prattville, AL, Kaleb Stodola of Lexington, KY, Tasa Diehl (Scott) of Maryville, TN, Kristy Lathrop (Kyle) of Ankeny, IA, Drew Stodola (Katie) of Laurens, SC and David Stodola of Greenville, SC; and her siblings, Sally Reed of Tavares, FL and Dick McLaren of Rockford, IL.. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials be made to Child Evangelism Fellowship (https://www.cefofnorthwestillinois.org), an organization that is near and dear to Doug and Ruth's hearts.
