It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Hanson of Loves Park, Illinois, who passed away on July 2, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Dean and Vivian Jones (Rieker); her husband John Hanson, Sr.; her son Bart Cary; and her stepdaughter Ann Wilcox (Tom).
She is survived by: her sons, Brad Cary (Janet) of Rockford, IL and Bryan Cary (Laury) of Honolulu, HI; her stepchildren, Shawn Morgan (Joel), Diane Kohlhaas (Bill) and John Hanson, Jr.; and her siblings, Hazel Lindblade, Cyndi Phillips and Earl Jones (Julie). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in her name.
