She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester W. Oberg and Faye M. Oberg (Jenison); her husband Richard "Dick" W. Carter; her father-in-law William Carter (Blanche); her siblings, Dodi Peebles (Dick), Carole Stenzel (Walt) and Dick Peterson (Irene); her sister-in-law Carole Fasulo; and her pet Coco.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike W. Carter, Mark A. Carter (Kristi) and Jeff S. Carter (Cheryl); and her grandchildren, Gracie Carter, Emily Humphrey (Steve), Jake Mullen, Stacie Dinger (Curt), Lisa Kitsemble (Don), Regina Edwards (Gino) and Roger Lamberth (Mike). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces.
