She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shortess and Idyle Fern McClure (Johnson); her daughter-in-law Catharine Kile; and her pet Biscuit. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Kile-Jackson (Andrew), Brian Kile and Carrie Hayden Kile (Joan); and her grandchildren, Adam Kile, Kevan Kile, Mary Beth Morgan (Tony), Carolyn Deverell (Matt), Hannah Novak (Eric) and Justin Jackson. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Peace Montessori Forest School.
