We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2024, at the age of 84, Rochelle Ellen Boyd of Lovington, Illinois, born in Decatur, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles R. Taylor and Rachel Nellie Taylor (Murphy); her husband Richard W. "Ike" Boyd; her son-in-law Dave Kinert; and her brother-in-law John Schwartz.
She is survived by : her children, Jeffrey Boyd (Diana) of Saint Martin, Julie Kinert of Lovington and Jamison Boyd (Brandi) of Tuscola; her sisters, Karen McCoy (Gary) of The Villages, FL, Marsha Schwartz of Pass Christian, MS and Kathy Schwerin (Kent) of Flanagan; and her grandchildren, Nick Boyd (Candice), Lauren Kinert (Craig), Wyatt Ciszkowski (Amanda), Tim Wickens (Rhi), Rick Boyd (Makenzie), Josiah Kinert (Bailee), Makenna Boyd, Maddy Boyd and Declan Boyd. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 7 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McMullin-Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services - Lovington (312 S Broadway St, Lovington, IL 61937). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Lovington Volunteer Fire Department.
