He was predeceased by: his parents, Onie Jay and Marjorie L. Conn Bowles; and his brother William "Bill" Bowles. He is survived by: his daughters, Hope Griffin (Daryl) of Bellevue, NE and Amanda Bowles of Champaign; his grandson Will Griffin; his siblings, Susie Kingery (Todd Edmundson) of Tuscola and Sam Bowles of Lafayette, IN; his close friend Carol Briggerman; and his aunt Ruth Benner. He is also survived by 6 nephews and several cousins who grew up like brothers and sisters.
