It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Colleen Willey of Lynn Center, Illinois, who passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hawthorne and Helen Hawthorne (Lang); and her siblings, Stanley Hawthorne, Elsie Kernana and Hilda Whipka.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Willey of Lynn Center, IL; her children, Mary Ann Beerbower (Gary) of Moline, IL, Nancy Talik (Stephen) of Coal Valley, IL, Julie York (Wyatt) of Sherrard, IL and Mike Willey of Arizona; and her grandchildren, Robert Lieby (Amy) of Virginia, MN, Jesse Willey of Minnesota, Emily Mess of LeClaire, IA, Lynn Hergert (Jeramy) of Sherrard, IL and Marty York (Jody) of Cambridge, IL. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
