He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Slivester Halliday and Zelda Marie Halliday (Bell); and his brother Mike Halliday. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Halliday of Macedonia, Illinois; his daughter Katie Wayman (Matthew) of Christopher, Illinois; his grandchildren, Harper Wayman and Spencer Wayman; his sister Sharon Hodge (Richard) of Auburn Heights, Michigan; and his sister-in-law Trish Halliday of Benton, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends, and his church family.
