He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ray and Betty Bennett (Cherry); his granddaughter Clara Jean Black; and his brother Charles Ray Bennett Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Renee Locklear (Haiden), Robert Charles Bennett, Matthew Elliott Bennett and John Pope; and his grandchildren, Jeriod, Devon, Memphis and Johnny.
