We are sad to announce that, on February 18, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Barbara Lester (Machesney Park, Illinois), born in Rockford, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her daughter Julie Lynn Lester; and her parents, Fred Thurston and Cleo Thurston. She is survived by: her children, Peggy Tanker (Rick), Penny Files and Mark Lester (Nikki Rud); her grandchildren, Nathan Tanker, Jacob Tanker, Adam Lester, Lucas Files, Heather Blair, Marissa Lester, Joshua Lester, Kaitlyn Rud and Makenzi Rud; and her half-brother Fred Thurston (Jane). She is also survived by sister-in-laws; many nieces and nephews and many very special friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
