He was predeceased by: his fathers, Wayne Lintz and Jean Head; his sister Tonya Graves; and his grandson Grayson Phillip. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Lintz; his daughter Courtney Cain (Ethan); his granddaughters, Olivia Cain and Millie Cain; his brothers, Jeff Schewe (Chris), Tim Schewe (Melissa) and Stacey; his stepchildren, Steve Dover (Aimee), Jeremy Dover and Rachelle Hatheway (Donnie); and his pet Suzie. He is also survived by 7 step-grandchildren; numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Bryan's name to the Loves Park VFW.
