It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clarence H Hornbogen (Machesney Park, Illinois), born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on February 25, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Hornbogen and Clarabele Hornbogen (Patch); his former wife Marie Hornbogen (Gross); his children, Alan R. Hornbogen, Steven E. Hornbogen and Vickie L. Hornbogen; and his siblings, Valeria "Sis" Bollon and Charles "Chuck" Hornbogen.

He is survived by: his wife Esther; his children, Jerome "Jerry" (Noreen), Brian Hornbogen and Lori Hornbogen; his grandchildren, Jerry (Tami) and Sherry Hornbogen; his great grandchildren, Josh, Chantel and Taylor; his pet Boss; and his friends, Betty Kerr, Sherry Comer, Bill Grams and Dena Sanford. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
