He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Wicks and Evelyn Wicks (McKay); his daughter Trudy Wicks; his siblings, Geraldine Cliffe, Gwendolyn Visgar, Eleanor Hammer, Lyle "Bud" Wicks, Glenn Wicks and Garth Wicks; his stepfather Newell "Tex" Stewart; and his siblings-in-law, Francis Cliffe, Richard Schroeder, Berley Visgar, Clair Hammer and Roseleen Wicks.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Wicks; his children, Rodney Wicks (Eve), Laurie Swanson (John), Lesly Wicks (Darlene), Rhonda Wicks (James), Thomas Hancock (Tammy) and Curtis Hancock (Tina); and his siblings, Laurie Wicks (Patricia) and Diana Schroeder. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
