With sadness, we share the passing of Genna Lou Brazel of Machesney Park, Illinois. Genna, born on June 17, 1948, passed away on July 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Owens and Dorothy Owens (Gattis); and her brothers, Larry Owens and Mickey Owens (Betty). She is survived by: her husband Billie Brazel; her sons, Wayne Brazel (Tracy) and Vergil Brazel; her grandchildren, Zachary Brazel, Zoe Milgrim (Hunter) and Mariah Brazel (Cory); her great grandchild Lex Brazel; and her sister Betty Redmond (Tommy).
