He is survived by: his children, Howard L. Drye, Jr. (Annette), Michelle Plescia (Rick Hagen), Gary Drye and Catherine Drye (Michael Crawford); his sisters, Eldora Welch (Melvin) and Mary Ellen Parker (Dennis); and his close friend Joyce Peterson. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
