He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bernard and Cordelia Phillips (Millard); his daughter Judy Toepfer; and his grandson Joshua Phillips. He is survived by: his children, John A. Phillips, Debbie Lewis (Bill) and Linda Jones (Larry); his son-in-law Brad Toepfer; his grandchildren, John B. Phillips, Amber Cadrobbi (Mike), Michael Toepfer, Justin Toepfer (Megan), Jamie Toepfer (Peter), Anthony Helmer (Alexis) and Melissa Godboldt (Brandon); and his brother-in-law David Connell (Sharon). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
