He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Schafman and Dorothy Schafman (Wendt); and his siblings, Henry Klotz (Marilyn) and Kayann Steinmetz. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Craig Knipprath (Phyllis), Krista Knipprath (Keith Pleasant), Jason Schafman (Allie Hinz) and Steven Schafman (Cory Roys); his brother John Schafman (Cathy); and his brother-in-law Steven Steinmetz. He is also survived by grandchildren; and two precious great-grandchildren.
