He was predeceased by : his mother Mae Glaser Dietrich Sr.; and his brother Don Dietrich. He is survived by : his wife Betty L. Barrick; his children, Mark Dietrich (Mary) of Mackinaw, Chris Dietrich (Sharon) of Minier and Robert Dietrich (Greta) of Glenarm; his grandchildren, Justin Dietrich (Jackie), Caleb Dietrich (Kristin), Jordan Dietrich, Samantha Dietrich, Matthew Campbell (Sallie) and Tony Campbell (Elizabeth); his siblings, George Dietrich (Lois) of Minier, Elsie Long of Mackinaw, Grace Fluegel of Minier and Linda Holland of Creve Coeur; and his sister-in-law Ruth Dietrich of Mackinaw. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Minier Rescue Squad or St. John's United Church of Christ.
