He is survived by: his wife Anne Lawson of Mackinaw; his children, Tim Chambliss (Ashley), Deidre Bussey (Wesley), Cheyanne Lawson (Kyle Musselman), Matt Lawson and Eli Lawson; his grandchildren, Reed, Reese, Stella, Jozie, Zoey and Myles; his siblings, John Lawson of Pekin, Sandee Jones (Lonnie) of Allenspark and Sherry Donahue (Ed) of Somerset, Kentucky; his mother-in-law Carolyn Neeman; and his brother-in-law Scott Neeman (Lisa) of Crestview, Florida. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
