She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Everett and Lura Mae Palmer (Leathers); her husband John D. McCarty; and her children, Ricky Alan McCarty and Margo Fayette Maloney.
She is survived by: her children, David Eugene McCarty of Macomb, IL, Monte Robert McCarty of Macomb, IL, Daniel Kim McCarty (Pegi) of Adair, IL and Linda Lee Kaffer of Bushnell, IL; her siblings, Dannie Palmer (Joyce) of Ipava, IL, Billie Palmer (Joyce) of Rushville, IL and Peg Elliot of Saint Louis, MO; and her caregiver Peyton Lyons. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren several nieces and nephews.
