With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jane Woodford of Macomb, Illinois, who passed away on March 22, 2026 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Woolley and Bessie Palmer Woolley; her husband Delbert Lloyd Woodford; her son Scott Woodford; her sons-in-law, Jim Turke and David McGrew; her great grandchild Kinsey Woodford; and her sister Beverly Ament.
She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Don Ament and Bonnie; her children, Melody McGrew of Good Hope, Sheila Turke of Macomb and Kent Woodford (Barb) of Brooksville, Florida; her grandchildren, Justin (Alison), Jonas (Jill), Jordan McGrew (Carley), Bridget Moffitt (Gary), Barry Woodford (Sarah), K. T. (Lindsey), Tanner Woodford (Robyn) and Amber Vallee (Jason); her great grandchildren, Payton, Nolan McGrew, Kylie, Emery McGrew, Parker, Jackson McGrew, Alex, Anna Moffitt, Anthony Kosel, Stella Hollenback, Isla Woodford, Camden, Colton Woodford, Emi Woodford, Zoey, Addie and Piper Vallee; and her daughter-in-law Martha Woodford.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to either the HSMC New Animal Shelter or McDonough County 4-H Buildings and Grounds.
