She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Jigger" Bates and Elva Bates (Bollinger); her former husbands, George Stambaugh and Chet Esther; her spouse Orpheus "Sam" Davis; and her siblings, Garnet Briney, Isla Soper and Kermit Bates.
She is survived by: her son Joe Stambaugh (Letha) of Astoria; and her sister-in-law Mary Lou Stambaugh.
