With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bill H. Western of Macomb, Illinois, who passed away on October 2, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bill H. Western to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Halmer Western and Aileen Western (Long); his wife Carol F. Hocking; his son-in-law Mike Cazalet; and his granddaughter Christine Darragh (Cazalet).
He is survived by: his children, Marcia McGrew (William) of Prairie City, IL, Mike Western (Kathy) of DeLand, FL and Bruce Western of Macomb, IL; his grandchildren, Audra Vance (George), Brett Cazalet (Katie), Eric Cazalet (Mandy), Kenneth Western (Brandie) and Amanda Lee (Larry); and his brother Gerald Western (Barbara) of Vermilion, OH.. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Maple Ave. Christian Church (1300 Maple Ave, Macomb, IL 61455). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Maple Avenue Christian Church (1300 Maple Ave, Macomb, IL 61455). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Pleasant View Cemetery (410 W 3rd St, Assumption, IL 62510).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Maple Avenue Christian Church, Assumption Christian Church, or to the McDonough District Hospital Hospice Program.
