He is survived by: his son Robert Gilson (Salina) of Vermont; his grandchildren, Justin Gilson, Gage Gilson (Abigail Decker), Kianna Gilson (James Hills) and Addie Kimbro (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Trenten Kimbro, Dayten Kimbro and Griffin Gilson; and his brother Jon Gilson (Cathy) of Jacksonville, FL..
