He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Coker and Jeanette Caspall Coker; and his sister Shirley Bridgewater. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Curless; his children, Scott Coker (Barb) of Macomb and Angie Benson (Jeremy) of Macomb; his grandchildren, Sydney, Hayley, Macy Coker, Alex, Matthew and Katherine Benson; and his sisters, Patricia Young and Cindy Hare (Jim).

Memorials may be made to McDonough County.
