She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Newman and Betty Newman (Shoup) of Carthage; and her spouse Lynn Purdy. She is survived by: her daughters, Amy Gound (Robert) of Warsaw and Abby Ruebush (Karl) of Macomb; her grandchildren, Jenna, Jordan Gound of Warsaw, Kade Ruebush of Macomb, Riley Blue (Savannah) of Spartanburg, Jackson Chase of Edmond and Carson Purdy of LaHarpe; and her sisters, Diana Bollin (John) of Dallas City and Karen Baird of Carthage.
Memorials may be directed to the McDonough District Hospital Hospice or the First United Methodist Church in Carthage.
