He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Holbrook Hamilton and Lena White Hamilton; his wife Frances Merriken; his daughter Ada (Rich); his brother Alvin Hamilton; and his daughter-in-law Ardis Hamilton (Ted). He was also cherished by 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army, The Good Food Collaborative, First Presbyterian Church of Macomb or Wesley Village of Macomb.
