He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Mueller and Alice Mueller (Jensen); his brother Charles Mueller; his son David; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Mueller (Peggy); and his grandson Nicholas Weist.
He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Witt (David) and Sue Toso (Rick); his sister-in-law Patty Mueller; his former wife Myra Mueller (Krieger); and also, Paul Mueller (Bernadette), Donna Minnich (Joe), Nancy Schmoldt (Gary), Mark Mueller, Rebecca Garlick (Jim), Robin Monson (Bill), JoAnna Eidson (Bruce), Ketra Kuniej (Bill), An Woolfolk (Kyle) and Jim Nicholas (Nicki). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (123 S Campbell St, Macomb, IL 61455). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church or MDH Hospice.
