She was predeceased by : her parents, Francis Forey and Veronica Forey (Miller). She is survived by : her husband John Everett Theis; her stepsons, Steve Theis of Colfax, IA, Michael Theis (Sue) of Newton, IA, Kevin Theis (Janelle) of Waverly, IA, Joel Theis (Joni) of Colchester, IL and Timothy Theis (Sandy) of Pinson, AL; and her sister Margaret Hartman of West Bend, IA. She is also survived by 14 Step-grandchildren, 15 step-great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Paul Women's Guild.
