He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Wetzel and Gertrude Wetzel (Carson); his son Todd Wetzel; and his siblings, Burdette Wetzel, Harriet Cordell, Doris Vance, Andy Wetzel, Dick Wetzel, Lillian Webb, Conrad Wetzel, Glenna Purdy and Jean Wetzel.

He is survived by: his wife Joy Poulson; his children, Carolyn Wetzel, Don Wetzel, Doug Hagen (Krissy) and Shannon Cook; and his siblings, Jack Wetzel, Joe Wetzel (Cindy), Luanne Steiner (Gary) and Karen Dean. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, I great grandchild.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
