It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn M. Baker of Macomb, Illinois, born in Downing, Missouri, who passed away on April 18, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Ledford and Julia Ann Woods Miller; her former spouse Leslie L. Baker; her son Neal Lynn Baker; and her siblings, Rufus, Olen, Wayne Miller and Kathryn Staub.

She is survived by: her husband Downing; and her sons, Leslie Baker (Phyllis Castillo) of Ceres, CA and Gary Baker (Annette) of Lakemoor, IL. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, and thirteen great great grandchildren.
