He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Gooden and Dora Allen Gooden; and his wife Carolyn Rouse. He is survived by: his children, Amber Bilderback (Roger) of Colchester and Wesley Gooden (BriTtany) of Macomb; and his grandchildren, Tabby Bilderback, Koby Gooden, Alydia Gooden, Jamisen Gooden and Rana Gooden. He is also survived by two brothers and four sisters.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home (303 E Washington St, Macomb, IL 61455).
