He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Keeney and Rita Keeney (Cox); and his cousins, Carol Clark (Don) of Missouri, Janet Snyder of Texas, Susan Sturm (Bill) of Springfield, IL and Lou Herbster (Phyllis) of Arizona.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Adams; his daughters, Jennifer Ludwig (David) of Geneva, IL and Lisa Keeney-Albrecht of Bettendorf, IA; his grandchildren, Ava, Sadie Ludwig, Carson and Molly Albrecht; his sibling's children, Michael Keeney, Sarah Davis and Erin Keeney; and his brother Gerald F. Keeney.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (309 W Jackson St, Macomb, IL 61455). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery (1027 N Randolph St, Macomb, IL 61455).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the McDonough County Animal Shelter, WIU Athletics, Oakwood Cemetery Beautification Fund, or the Elms Nursing Home.
