We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2023, at the age of 95, John Everett Theis of Macomb, Illinois, born in Riceville, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Theis and Hazel Theis (Marr); his former wife Myrtle Marie Ahlstrom; his wife Janice Forey; and his brothers, Dale and James Theis.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Theis of Colfax, IA, Michael Theis (Sue) of Newton, IA, Kevin Theis (Janelle) of Waverly, IA, Joel Theis (Joni) of Colchester, IL and Timothy Theis (Sandy) of Pinson, AL; and his siblings, Tom Theis of Hiawatha, Iowa and Linda Manning of Lansing, Iowa.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Loaves and Fishes of McDonough County.
