He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Ballow and Rose Ballow (McCann); his parents-in-law, Lawrence and Rosalia Waterkotte; his sister Marcella Rhea (Ballow); his brothers-in-law, Dale Rhea and Larry Waterkotte; and his nephew Donald Rhea.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Ballow (Karin), Michael Ballow (Tina) and Theresa Korsmeyer (Todd); his grandchildren, Kelsey Wallace (Nate), Stuart Korsmeyer (Julie), Andrew Ballow, Patrick Ballow, Daniel Ballow and Sean Ballow; his great grandchildren, Logan Korsmeyer, Whitley Korsmeyer and Bennett Wallace; and his nieces, Linda Collins, Pamela Morris, Deborah Hamm and Kelly Ragar.
