He was predeceased by: his parents, Eula Damitz and Arnold Damitz. He is survived by: his fiancée Donna Newell Augustyn of Macomb; his children, Christine Schaill (Scott) of Vermont, IL, Ash (Jamie) of Yorkville, IL and Catherine Selzer of Elroy, AZ.; and his brother Jim Damitz (Teresa) of Punta Gorda, Florida. He is also survived by six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Bardolph Cemetery (100 Airport Rd, Bardolph, IL 61416).
