She is survived by: her brother Howard Hastings Martin; her children, Paul (Rhonda) of Salem, OR, Patty (Tom Owens) of Pomona, IL, Sara (Randy Myren) of Janesville, WI and Kathy; her grandchildren, Rian Jean Ganyard of Salem, OR, Elissa Moore (Mathew) of Post Falls, ID, Meagan McAlister of Rochester, MN, Emma McAlister (Spencer Lynch) of Meriden, NH and Ian McAlister of Chippewa Falls, WI; and her great grandchildren, Calder and Liv Joy Moore.
In recognition of these contributions to her community, she was honored to receive the Macomb Feminist Network "Writing Women in to History" award in 2015.
