She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Learned and Anna Taylor Learned; and her husband James Ellis. She is survived by: her sons, Bill Ellis of Macomb, Steven Ellis (Cheryl) of Peoria and Chris Ellis of Macomb; and her sister Anna Mae Walton of Macomb. She is also survived by ten grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Marjorie Ellis Memorial Fund.
