He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur McCollum and Louise Hofer McCollum; his grandson Jacob Lester McCollum; and his siblings, Floyd, Ralph, Raymond, Johnny McCollum and Helen Berg.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley A. Feltman; his sons, Michael McCollum of Quincy and Ricky McCollum (Misty Shaw) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Shaun McCollum, Andrew McCollum (Dusty), Rebecca Rauch (Mike), David McCollum, Rachael McCollum, Samuel McCollum and Zachary McCollum; his great grandchild Brinley McCollum; and his sisters, Rose Pirner, Amy Robertson and Daisy Berg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
