She was predeceased by: her husband Joe; her siblings, William Forsythe and Betty Chamness; and her nephew Bill Chamness. She is survived by: her sons, Tom (Sky) of Malibu, California and Jim (Anne) of Mundelein, Illinois; her grandchildren, Laura Stipanowich (Doyle Campbell), Thomas Forsythe (Brianna), Jimmy Stipanowich, Amy Pabalan (Leomar), Nick Lalonde (Trinity) and Sarah Stipanowich; her great grandchildren, CJ, Levi and Lucy Pabalan; her nephew David Chamness (Deanna); and her niece-in-law Jan Chamness.
She was also a strong supporter of the Western Illinois Museum, to which she donated many historical items.
