It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norvel Taite Jr. of Macomb, Illinois, born in Pensacola, Florida, who passed away on October 11, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Narvie Taite and Mable Thomas Taite; his siblings, Bernice Brooks, James Taite and Humphrey Taite; and his half-siblings, Rubbie Lee Salter and Willie Taite.
He is survived by: his spouse Kyong Ae Kim; his children, Mable Kreps of Macomb, IL, Theresa Melidis (Savas) of DeKalb, IL and Norvel Taite III (Jennifer) of Kansas City, MO.; his grandchildren, Payton, Camryn Kreps, Sophie, Harrison Taite, Yianni, Dino and Kosmas Melidis; and his siblings, Patricia Boykin, Barbara Johnson, Gloria Donald, Ben Taite and Lawrence Taite. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
