He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Bland and Grace Bland Armstrong. He is survived by: his wife Norma Robinson; his daughters, Linda Mahan (Scott) of Girard, Debbie Bland (Gwen Davis) of Havana and Mary Downey (Aaron) of Avon, Illinois; his grandchildren, Jamie Ganschow (Shannon), Shanna Phillips (Thomas), Jessica Wetzel (Jim), Chance Downey, Fiancé and Sydney Lovekamp; his great grandchildren, Addison, Lena, Elsah Ganschow, Isaac, Alyssa, Maya and Lola Phillips; and his sister Mary Kay Vogler (Dale).

The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Fresnius Kidney Care, MDH Hospice or Macomb Assembly of God Church.
