He was predeceased by: his parents, Verle Haffner and Jennie Haffner (Hensley); his wife Alice Wier; his sister Nelva Thompson; his brother-in-law Bob Grant; his son-in-law Larry Ault; his grandson Jared Haffner; and his great grandchild Kelton Tingley.
He is survived by: his children, Peg Hainline (David) of Good Hope, Pam Wisslead (Jim) of Sciota, Anita Tingley (Larry) of Galesburg, Annette Ault of Colchester, Rhonda Haffner of Morton and Randy Haffner (Natalee) of Colchester; and his siblings, Glenda Grant of Roseville and Roger Haffner (Norrie) of Macomb. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
