He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Mehaffy and Agnes Mehaffy (Beers); and his brother Mick Mehaffy. He is survived by: his wife Karol Adwell of Macomb; his children, Jennifer Taylor (Jeff) of Chambersburg, Jason Mehaffy (Whitney) of Jacksonville and Jami Seggelke (Jason) of Macomb, Illinois; his grandchildren, Anya, Dempsey Mehaffy, Riley, Lucy, Santi and Deacon Seggelke; his brother John Mehaffy (Pat) of Quincy; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Mehaffy of Quincy.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roseville Christian Church (215 W Broadway St, Roseville, IL 61473). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the LaMoine Christian Camp and left in the care of the funeral home.
