She was predeceased by : her parents, Floyd Monk and Pearl Monk (Lindsey); her husband Andy Henderson Crochrell; her daughter DeLisa Crochrell; her siblings, Gladys Roshell (Clarence), Helen Monk, Margie Monk, Leon Monk, Charles Monk, Venoil "Pete" Monk and Harvey Monk; her brother-in-law Willie-T Corbin; and her close friend Martha Hudson.

She is survived by : her children, Dewanda Crochrell, Sharon "Renee" Reed, DeRodney Crochrell, DeLarry Crochrell (Emeral) and DeLanders Crochrell (Yolanda); and her sister Dorothy Corbin of St. Petersburg, Florida. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
