We are sad to announce that, on December 23, 2023, at the age of 73, Letitia Ann Laurk of Madison, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph O. Riggs and Ruth A. Riggs (Fetzer); her daughter Letitia "Tish" Lockwood; and her siblings, Nancy Riggs, Barbara Bell, Norma Whistler, Clifford W. Riggs and Sandra Short.
She is survived by: her husband John Laurk of Madison, Illinois; her daughters, Cathy Laurk of Granite City and Jill Banta (Timothy) of St. Louis, Missouri; her grandchildren, Alisha Lockwood, Melissa Lockwood, Lauren Lockwood, John McLaughlin, BreAnna Spink, Raymond Scott, Jarad Bailey and Natalie Banta; her siblings, Michael Riggs, William Riggs, Christine Sthair and Nancy Diamond; and her sister-in-law Catherine Smentkowski. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
