He was predeceased by: his parents, William K. Smith and Henrietta Smith (Hattie); and his close friend Tom Gridley. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Mingee; his son Kenneth Smith (Sarah) of Mahomet; and his brother Robert L Smith (Jenny) of Antigo, WI.
