With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Cox (Mahomet, Illinois), who passed away on October 11, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint David leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ronald E. Cox and Betty Joanne Clark (McCloud); his stepfather Robert Clark; his children, Jonathan (Tara) and Ashley; his grandchildren, Cassandra, Raynor and Archer; his sister Teresa (Mike); and his children, Andrea, Kayla and Michael.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Blair-Owens Funeral Home (102 E Dunbar St, Mahomet, IL 61853). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church (501 W State St, Mahomet, IL 61853).
