She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Snyder and Mary Snyder (Taylor); and her daughter Rebecca Casteel Redd. She is survived by: her husband Charles Casteel; and her son Timothy Casteel (Juanita). She is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 2 sisters.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Owens Funeral Home (101 N Elm St, Champaign, IL 61820). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
